1. Security Solutions (“SSI” ) will award one (1) grand prize at the end of the prize period. SSI will have 4 prize periods per year that begin on the first day of January, April, July and October and end 90 days thereafter. The grand prize winner will be determined from a random drawing of all entries received during the prize period.  The odds of winning the grand prize are determined by the number of entries received prior to the time of the prize drawing.  SSI reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate this promotion without notice at any time. The winner will be notified by certified mail within 15 days of the drawing. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.  All prizes will be awarded.

2. The grand prize winner will receive subject to the companies standard terms and conditions their selection of SSI’s Level 2 home security system that will include the main control unit, keypad, smoke detectors on each level of the home, all perimeter door sensors (up to 5), a second keypad for the master bedroom, a remote control key fob and 3 additional interior sensors, professionally installed by SSI with a total maximum retail value of $2,500.00.   Any costs in excess of $2,500 shall be the sole and exclusive responsibility of the winners. This prize is not transferable by the winner and must be installed at the address listed on the winning entry form. Installation must be provided by SSI personnel or SSI’s designee. Monitoring charges are not included and the winner must enter into a standard agreement with SSI for monitoring.  All expenses not specifically provided for are the sole responsibility of the winners. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Rules, if a winner has already purchased goods or services from SSI, the winner may choose to receive (i) the cash value of the grand prize; or (ii) a selection of SSI products for installation with a retail value double the sales price of their most recent purchase from SSI, up to a maximum retail value of $2,500.00

3. No purchase is necessary to participate in this promotion, and you do not have to submit to a sales presentation. Void where prohibited by law, rule or regulation. You may enter this promotion by completing the entry form and returning it to the drop box where you obtained it, or be mailing it back to SSI at the address below. Alternatively, you may print your name and your complete address on a 3"x5" card, write the words "SSI ENTRY REQUEST" at the top, and mail the card to SSI at their address below. Mailed entries must be postmarked by the 30th day of the month preceding the prize period to be entered in that next prize period.  No more than one entry per household is allowed. SSI is not responsible for any illegible, misplaced, damaged or late entries. The address listed on each entry form must be the address where the prize is to be installed if such entry is selected as a winner.
 
4. Sweepstake entrants must (i) be legal residents of Indiana or Illinois; (ii) be 18 years of age or older, (iii) own their own home, which home is in a suitable condition (as determined by SSI or its designees) for installation of the prize (including compliance with local building codes and regulations), and (iv) reside in a geographic area in which SSI is permitted to install such prize at the winner's location. Employees, officers and directors of SSI, its affiliates, subsidiaries, co-branded partners, consultants, contractors, advertising, public relations, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies, their immediate families (and those living in their same households) are not eligible to participate in the promotion.

5. House must be in suitable condition for SSI (as deemed by SSI or its designees in their sole discretion). No transfers, substitution in prizes or cash will be allowed except by SSI, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole or absolute discretion. Cash value of the prize is deemed to be $2,500. Upon installation of prize, SSI will be deemed to have awarded the prize to the winner with the winner assuming full ownership and responsibility for the prize. Winner must arrange for prize installation no later than one month following the award of the prize. and installation must occur and be completed with in twelve months of confirmed notification.
 
6. The winner must comply with all instructions in the prize notification correspondence, including the completion of an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release, and return them within fourteen days of the date on the prize notification correspondence as well as have met all of the eligibility requirements set forth within these Rules; otherwise prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected. Acceptance or use of a prize constitutes permission for SSI and its affiliates to use recipients name and likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
 
7. Liability for any applicable taxes, including all federal, state, and local taxes and/or other fees that may apply to prizes are the sole responsibility, will be the sole responsibility of the winner. Any required tax reporting forms will be furnished to the Internal Revenue Service. All expenses not specifically provided for by SSI in these Rules are the sole responsibility of the winner.
 
8. Entries that are lost, late, illegible or incomplete for any reason will not be eligible. SSI reserves the right to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes at any time or disqualify any entry in good faith. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the winning home is titled.
 
9. For winner's list, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope within 30 days following a prize period to Security Solutions 1850 S 25th Ave Broadview, IL 60155, including a request for the winner’s names.

10. By participating in the promotion, participants agree to release, discharge and hold harmless SSI, its affiliates, co-branded partners, subsidiaries, retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents, from any damages which may arise out of participation in the promotion in any way or out of the acceptance, use, misuse or possession of a prize. Acceptance of a prize may require entering a standard contract or purchase order for the goods and services to be provided, as required by state law. This promotion is conducted in English (which will be given its everyday ordinary meaning). This Sweepstakes is sponsored by Security Solutions 1850 S 25th Ave Broadview, IL 60155 and governed by the laws of the United States with venue in Chicago, Illinois.
11. Sponsor does not assume any responsibility for any schedule changes in the Sweepstakes timeline, including without limitation, scheduling conflicts, labor strikes, Acts of God, and other unforeseen events that disrupt the Sweepstakes schedule. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes, as Sponsor and may determine in its sole discretion.
12. ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH SWEEPSTAKES SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE'S LAWS. THE INVALIDITY OR UNENFORCEABLITY OF ANY PROVISION OF THESE RULES SHALL NO AFFECT THE VALIDITY OR ENFORCEABILITY OF ANY OTHER PROVISION. IN THE EVENT THAT ANY PROVISION IS DETERMINED TO BE INVALID OR OTHERWISE UNENFORCEABLE OR ILLEGAL. THESE RULES SHALL OTHERWISE REMAIN IN EFFECT AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR TERMS AS IF THE INVALID OR ILLEGAL PROVISION WERE NOT CONTAINED HEREIN. EACH PERSON WHO PARTICIPATES IN THE SWEEPSTAKES IRREVOCABLY AGREES THAT THE STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS LOCATED IN COOK COUNTY ILLINOIS SHALL HAVE EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION OVER ANY SUIT OR OTHER PROCEEDING ARISING OUT OF OR BASED UPON THIS AGREEMENT AND EACH HEREBY WAIVES ANY CLAIM THAT IS NOT SUBJECT PERSONALLY TO THE JURISDICTION OF SAID COURTS OR THAT ANY SUCH SUIT OR OTHER PROCEEDING IS BROUGHT IN AN INCONVENIENT FORUM OR IMPROPER VENUE.
